- Vianney has a wireless campus and a “teacher-deployed technology plan,” which emphasizes use of technology as a tool in educating the entire person. Laptops are readily available, with one computer for every two students.
- About 95 percent of Vianney graduates complete four or more math courses and three or more science courses.
- Tuition for 2011/2012 is $10,590. About 25 percent of students receive some form of tuition assistance.
- We have a student/teacher ratio of 13-to-1.
- Students are encouraged to initiate new clubs with the assistance of a faculty adviser.
- Our current enrollment is 635, representing 70 ZIP codes and 50 grade schools and parishes. Vianney draws students from across St. Louis city and county, from Jefferson and Franklin counties, and from the Metro East.
- In 2011, our Varsity Chess team won the National Championship and our JV Chess team placed second.
- Vianney has been recognized by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as having one of the top athletic programs in the metro area.
- Vianney is recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
- About half of Vianney juniors and seniors earn college credits offered through St. Louis University and the University of Missouri – St. Louis.

What?
There are so many great choices for Catholic education in St. Louis…what makes Vianney unique?- 4×4 Block Schedule – Vianney is one of the only schools in the Midwest with the 4×4 block.
- Size – an average of 635 students - Vianney is large enough to compete at the highest levels and offer many opportunities, but also small enough you can actually PARTICIPATE!
- Leadership – Freshman take a required Leadership class amid other available programs that instill the qualities and characteristics of leaders in our students.

When?

Also:- Schedule a Visit: 8th graders can “Shadow” a current student and go through a normal day of school at Vianney. See what it’s like to be a Griffin firsthand!
- Not in 8th grade? No problem! 7th graders get an opportunity to Shadow in the Spring, so contact us at that time!
- High School Night at St. John Vianney High School: September 27th at 7 pm
- St. John Vianney High School’s Open House: November 6th from 12 pm – 4 pm
How?
Factors considered for acceptance:- Evidence of average to exceptional achievement on grade school records
- Favorable evaluations regarding citizenship / effort
- Scores in the top 50% (national average) or better on the standardized tests
- scores below 50% will require additional communication to determine if the student can succeed in our program.
- Involvement in school, church, community or other extracurricular activities
- Being Catholic is not a requirement; we welcome students of many faiths into the Vianney family
- The student and family participate in an interview process before acceptance
