Sophomore Matt Jansen was among a team of 80 Griffins clearing brush at a cemetery in Hillsdale.

Other groups of students helped move and sort donations at the St. Louis Foodbank, did landscaping at a YWCA or played with youngsters at Head Start facilities.

The Service Day is funded by the Vatterott Foundation as a way of connecting high school students with needs in their communities. Thanks to teacher Mr. Sean Scanlon and counselor Mr. Bob Meyer for organizing the day.
