Liturgy
As a Marianist family, we at Vianney take the opportunity to pray together whenever we can. The most common time in which we show our Family Spirit is through our all-school liturgies, which we celebrate at least once a month. On all-school liturgy days, students follow the dress code for “Dress-Up Days.” Griffin students perform our liturgical ministries. They serve as lectors, servers, sacristans, Eucharistic ministers, ministers of music, liturgy planners, gift bearers, greeters, ushers, program artists and those who deliver the call to worship.
Every Wednesday, the Vianney Family also celebrates a Mass in our Chapel, designed by Bro. Mel Meyer, S.M., from 7:10-7:30. This is a much more intimate celebration than our all-school liturgies, but still a very prayerful way to begin out day through devotion and participation in the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist.
All members of the Vianney family are invited to participate in our liturgies:
- Every Wednesday morning at 7:10 a.m. Mass is celebrated in our school chapel. All are welcome.
- Every Friday during the day Eucharistic Adoration is offered in our school chapel. All are welcome.
- Every Encore period a Communion Service is offered in the Marianist Lobby
