Victories over Clayton, Borgia, Washington boost Griffins to 21-1

Washington Feb. 4
Despite a busy week, Vianney had energy to spare in the Private vs. Public School Shootout benefiting the American Heart Association. The Griffins took down the Blue Jays 68-35, with George Suggs scoring 19 points.

Borgia Feb. 3
The Griffins got some traction back on Borgia’s “Tractor Night” following the disappointing play against Clayton. Lelis Djona led the Griffin scoring with 14 points in the 47-33 win.

Clayton Feb. 1
It was a rematch of Vianney’s season opener, but a very different game as Clayton made up a 12-point halftime deficit to give Vianney a serious run for the money. The Griffins rallied and held on for a close victory. George Suggs had 17 points to lead the Griffins in the 59-54 win.
